About Our Paving Work

Asphalt Paving Walnut Creek builds, resurfaces and maintains asphalt in Walnut Creek and the hill towns around it: Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga, Danville, Alamo, San Ramon and the unincorporated neighborhoods in between. We pave residential driveways, long private drives and shared roads, and the parking lots of shopping centers, offices, churches and HOAs.

Much of this area is built on hillsides. A driveway that climbs 20 feet from the street to the garage behaves very differently from one on flat ground: rain runs down it fast, carries fines out from under its edges, and finds every crack. Getting the grade, the base and the drainage right matters more here than the brand of asphalt on top.

Each estimate is a site visit. We walk the pavement, measure it, look at where water enters and leaves, and note anything that touches the street, a neighbor's property, a tree or an HOA rule. Our written quote then lists removal, base thickness, asphalt thickness, drainage items and edge details as separate lines, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.

Our approach

• We tell you plainly when an overlay will work and when it will not.
• On slopes we plan drainage first: curbs, swales or trench drains go in the quote, not in a change order.
• Work in the public right-of-way is done under the city or County encroachment permit, with the work hours and notice those permits require.
• HOA submittals get the drawings and specs your association asks for.
• Nothing outside the signed scope is done without your written approval.
